 Hi, everyone! Today was gorgeous :) it was much warmer than it has been the whole week. And the snow{that came on Friday} is already gone. Sadly :( . Aber, Deutschland ist immer schön. I was able to actually go outside for the 5 minutes needed to take these photos without feeling like my hands were going to fall off. Success!

The Familiar Things.

curling my hair honestly made me feel better :) i always did my hair like this back home and it's oddly comforting to have myself look more familiar when I can see myself changing so much every day. there are just moments when I miss the small things that were just always there. i'm happy, yes, but i'm also far away from home. and i won't try for one second to say that i don't miss the people and places that i love {the familiar things}.

i really, truly love this country. it's warm and friendly and so very different than my (other) home. and what better way to show my love than sporting the german flag? my friend did them for me. :)

A FASHION BLOGGER?

 i love blogging, and i love fashion and i love germany> although that last part is not really relevant right now. something that i've always wanted to do is try fashion blogging (and go abroad). and, oddly, being in a foreign country, i've been dressing a bit different. not german, exactly, just a different version of "janeen".

so, since we're jumping head first into an ocean of new things, why not fashion blogging? why the hell not? this blog is now, truly, a collection of me: my style, a documenting of my study abroad, a diary for things i impulsively share, and, just because i'm feeling a little loose, i'll be a fashion blogger today. =)
